Disorder (ADHD)
PBH is proud to provide comprehensive assessment and treatment for ADHD. We will walk you through each step of the process, and carefully take into account co-occurring conditions, life experiences, and other factors before providing an expert diagnostic opinion.
ADHD is defined by a pattern of difficulty focusing, including organizing, initiating, and following through on tasks. Symptoms can fall under the umbrella of inattention, hyperactivity, or both (combined type). In ADHD, these patterns persist across multiple settings and interfere in one's daily life.
Importantly, many symptoms of ADHD can be overlooked, including emotional regulation and inattention. Our clinical team is familiar with the variety of presentations and committed to providing quality, evidence-based care.
We provide compassionate treatment to help you understand yourself and your loved ones and develop healthy skills to work through the struggles of ADHD symptoms. Treatment often includes psychoeducation to provide coping skills and helpful routines, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address disruptive thought patterns and shame, and social skills training to promote healthy relationships.
